Apple has made a fixed timetable where it released its new software updates in the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) held in June. The week-long event from Apple is especially for the developers and the beta updates for the latest iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, etc. are released just for them. As for the common public, iOS 14 will most probably be released in September 2020 along with iPhone 12 for the common public.
