Apple iOS 14 update will come out this year at the WWDC 2020 event but the launch will happen differently. The good news is that Apple is not canceling or delaying the Worldwide Developer’s Conference over the fear of Coronavirus outbreak unlike the March launch event which has been canceled.

But for this year, the developers won’t have to book WWDC tickets or fly over the United States as they can witness the events from their homes and offices. Apple has recently announced that WWDC 2020 will be a totally online event and it will happen in June. The iOS 14 updates along with other updates of iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS will be presented at the event as per the previous schedule.

Coronavirus outbreak has been now declared as an epidemic and the United States has declared a national emergency to contain the threat and avoid infection. There are no exact dates mentioned but will Apple will keep the WWDC even somewhere around the first week of June 2020 just like every year. It is a good thing that Apple has changed the format of WWDC to an online event, instead of just canceling it over the fear of Covid-19 infection.
