Black Clover Season 3 is mostly having anime-original episodes so that it doesn’t cross the manga storyline. Fans are waiting for the TV adaptation to return to the canon storyline and director Tatsuya Yoshihara has given an important update on this. Black Clover Season 3 will very soon follow the manga series by Yuki Tabata as the Spade Kingdom arc will start with the last two episodes.
Black Clover Season 3 Spoilers and Manga Based Story Arcs
Black Clover manga series is currently on the 11th arc also known as Spade Kingdom arc, but the anime series have to extend the storyline. It would create problems as the TV show will surpass Tabata’s manga series. Tatsuya Yoshihara recently made a tweet to explain the situation of Black Clover Season 3 episodes and manga arcs.

The anime director shared that they are in contact with Tabata who has given them plenty of ideas for future anime-original episodes. Fans have translated the tweet and it says that fillers and original stories will continue till Episode 151.
Black Clover Season 3 will continue up to 153 episodes as the anime have 51 episodes in each season. It means that the Spade Kingdom manga arc will start with the last two episodes of the third season, ie Episode 152 and Episode 153.
Although, some other fans have different interpretations of the tweet. One of them suggested that Yoshihara means that Black Clover Season 3 episodes under Tabata’s guidance will start from Episode 151. It means that Spade Kingdom arc will start in early episodes of Black Clover Season 4.
Black Clover Season 3 Latest Episode Release Date
Black Clover Season 3 is currently following the Training Arc which fills the events in the manga’s six months time gap. It will show the original stories such as Leopold acquiring new magical powers while training with the Black Bulls. Black Clover Season 3 is currently on the latest Episode 137 which will release on Tuesday, August 4.
