South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama are the only areas where you can see this flower. That is why it is the rarest plant.

Most chances for seeing this flower is in waterways of Central Alabama. It is a type of spider lily and belongs to the amaryllis family.

As it is a rare species of flower and blooms for a limited period over the year, you can see them in waterways of Central Alabama, where it blooms between early May and late June.

If you haven’t seen this flower yet, then you can identify it by seeing it’s distinct three-inch full white flowers. Petals which are open and forms a star type shape.
