Details on Maxim Dadashev tragedy
The Russian Boxing Federation unveiled that the 28 year old suffered brain swelling after Friday’s fight. He underwent surgery and they were hopeful of his recovery but it was not to be.
Wow my heart heavy right now. I remember walking to the gas station with Maxim after he weighed in for one of his fights. Pray for his family to have strength in these tuff times because he was a good dude. RIP

Maxim Dadashev went unconscious whilst leaving the Ring. He suffered numerous blows on the head and was visibly struggling all through. That he didn’t stop earlier is testification to the boxer’s warrior like spirit.
Although the death looks like a natural death due to injuries, RBF secretary Umar Kremlev said the federation would investigate if anyone was particularly responsible. He thinks some human factors might be responsible for violation.
“We need to know the truth about what happened,” Kremlev told the Associated press.
