BTS has been invited to appear on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show for an entire week. The boy band will be making another history by doing so. Usually, Kpop idol groups are just invited as guests for an episode. This is the first ever time any South Korean artist has been given such an opportunity on American television.
The Bangtan Boys, i.e., RM, Jin, Jungkook, V, Suga, J-Hope and Jimin, are appearing for five straight days. It’s like taking over the show from Fallon. It’s definitely a milestone for the band.

Their Billboard No. 1 hit track Dynamite will, no doubt, be performed on any of the 5 days. It was also mentioned that BTS would hold virtual interviews with other guests.
Fallon told Entertainment Weekly—
“I’m so excited to have BTS back on the show. We just started the new season and we’re working on a lot of really exciting things. One thing that is important to us at ‘The Tonight Show’ is showcasing talent and creatives, so what better way to kick things off than a full week with them and this is just the start.”
The TV host and comedian added that they love having the Korean band in the show and they really admire them for their talents. He went on to say that they have faith that the group will give their all and go even beyond better to give a remarkable performance.
“Last time we had them on we took over Grand Central Terminal, so we had our work cut out for us to top that,” he said. “And what’s better than one night with BTS … a full week!”

Other celebs who have taken over the show before
Before BTS, Miley Cyrus also hosted the show for a week in 2017. Ariana Grande was in the show as the only guest for the entire episode in 2018 and in 2019, Cardi B co-hosted with Jimmy.
This won’t be the band’s first time on the show, though. The group has already been there a few times. Their last performance was at the Grand Central Terminal where they displayed an amazing presentation of their song “ON.”
Fans are hoping they would clear up or confirm their collab rumours with singer Ariana Grande, while on the show.
