Colin Kaepernick famous for his kneel down gesture during national anthem says he is ready to be back in NFL on Wednesday.

Kaepernick stood out for racial injustice in the United States during his protest. He was also recently in his news after his Nike ad was nominated for Emmy awards.

Colin Kaepernick last played in NFL in 2016

Colin Kaepernick last played in NFL in 2016 before he opted out of his contract with San Francisco 49ers. His last game was against Seattle Seahawks in which he threw 215 yards in a losing effort.

Colin Kaepernick recently backed former teammate Eric Reid after he vowed to keep kneeling in National anthem. Seemingly Colin Kaepernick is in good shape even after his time in the wilderness.

He recently uploaded a tweet working out in the gym. The caption read “5 a.m., 5 days a week. For 3 years. Still Ready.”

Kaepernick involved with social activism organisations

Although Colin Kaepernick hasn’t played in 3 years, he has been in news. He was involved in a number of social justice campaigns. Along with working with other organizations, he also founded his campaign “Know your rights camp”.

The campaign taught young children about legal rights and self empowerment. He also signed a deal with Nike last year where he launched his own clothing line. His jerseys are now famous with some of the NFL and NBA players.

NFL quaterback Colin Kaepernick also recently filed a grievance lawsuit with former teammate Eric Reid. The two friends alleged NFL of blackballing after their protests against racism during national anthem. Reid is now signed with the Carolina Panthers in the NFL.

Kaepernick didn’t quite set the park on fire but was a utility players. In 6 seasons with the 49ers, he completed 12272 passing yards along with 30 interceptions and 72 throwdowns. The quaterback’s average rating was 88.9 points while he reached double digit interceptions in just the one season.
