Let us take a closer look at what to expect from this and what’s next for Conor McGregor!
Oh goody, Donald Cerrone vs. Conor McGregor has been announced. A guy who makes a career out of getting hit against one of the hardest and most precise strikers in the game. How very interesting.

Conor McGregor vs Donald Cerrone: What to Expect?
McGregor vs Cerrone has officially been confirmed by UFC to headline UFC 246 in January. Most people expect this to be a ‘cakewalk’ for Conor McGregor and expect him to defeat the Cowboy with relative ease – not expecting the match to go all five rounds. However, this is Cerrone’s first match after his humiliating loss against Justin Gaethje and he too will be fired up.
McGregor is likely to win this match all things said and done. McGregor’s return was expected to be low-profile and while Cowboy Cerrone has achieved a lot in UFC, he is not at the same level as a Khabib, Ferguson or even a Gaethje is percieved. Nevertheless, Cowboy is full of heart and it will be an interesting fight to watch.

What’s Next for Conor McGregor?
After Conor McGregor vs Donald Cerrone, the Irishman is expected to face Jorge Masvidal at some point in time. This match is most likely going to take place at UFC 250 and considering that Khabib is headlining UFC 249, there’s a good chance this next event will be left open for Conor!
