Ever since Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson talks started to become official, Conor McGregor would have been a restless man. Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Conor McGregor Won’t Happen Anytime Soon
When Conor McGregor announced his return to UFC some weeks ago, he drew out a roadmap which said that he wants to fight someone when he returns (most likely Donald Cerrone), followed by a fight against the winner of Nate Diaz vs Jorge Masvidal from UFC 244 (which turned out to be Masvidal) – and then he would like to fight the winner of Khabib vs Tony.
Ali Abdelaziz, Khabib’s manager, has completely denied this saying there’s no plans for Khabib vs McGregor rematch happening anytime soon and has hinted that there’s another opponent for Khabib after his fight with Tony.

Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Justin Gaethje Confirmed?
Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov II might just get replaced by Justin Gaethje vs Khabib Nurmagomedov because of two reasons – first off, Ali Abdelaziz also manages Gaethje and secondly Gaethje has been one of the hottest names in the company of late and has been a really impressive fighter. Hence, there’s a good chance that he might get to fight Khabib before McGregor!
