Cyberpunk 2077’s release has yet again been pushed further to November 2020. Tech Radar reveals that the open-world, action-adventure game from Projekt Red starring Keanu Reeves that was scheduled for a September 17 release has now been delayed to November 19.
Projekt Red, the studio accredited for the popular Witcher series, is gearing up to launch Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, PS4, and Xbox on November 19, while the Google Strada release will come later this year. Moreover, a release date for the Xbox Series X has also been confirmed with a release for PlayStation 5 extremely likely to follow.
Projekt Red’s Tweets
“’Ready when it’s done’ is not just a phrase we say because it sounds right, it’s something we live by even when we know we’ll take the heat for it,” tweeted the developers from Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter handle.
The game is set in Night City, a metropolis controlled by corporations situated in the Free State of California. Cyberpunk 2077 is anticipated to be a gigantic game that will allow players to play through multiple branching storylines. The game will boast weapons and futuristic gadgets associated with sci-fi genre of cyberpunk.

The Nighty City Wire stream
A Night City Wire stream has been scheduled by Projekt Red on June 25 which is expected to reveal more news and updates relating to Cyberpunk 2077 along with possible trailers and gameplay notes.

“A huge world means a huge number of things to iron out and we will spend the additional time doing exactly that,” read the tweet.
At E3 2019, an extended trailer of Cyberpunk 2077 was seen along with a hands-off demo. However, so far there have only been glimpses of scale and breadth of the game.
