Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most immersive games to come out next year and details of the gameplay are already leaking on the internet. CD Projekt Red has remained secretive about Cyberpunk 2077 and the inclusion of Keanu Reeves as an NPC character totally surprised everyone. While many of the fans have been comparing the game with ‘The Witcher 3’, the new clues make it more clear.
Since Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world role-playing game, everyone is curious about the map of the game and places they can explore. While the new reports confirm that Cyberpunk 2077 will have a smaller map compared to CD Projekt Red’s previous work, ‘The Witcher 3’, it doesn’t mean it there will be fewer places to explore and it will be way denser.

Experts have compared it with the map of ‘The Witcher 3’ and found out that Cyberpunk 2077 has a smaller area. It is technically correct as the previous CDPR game which released in 2015 had a vast open-world which measured around 136 square km.
Cyberpunk 2077 Map is Small But Better than The Witcher 3
Cyberpunk 2077 has a smaller map that was confirmed way back when CD Projekt Red’s Producer Richard Borzymowski, when he told, “Cyberpunk 2077 has less surface area than The Witcher 3 but it is the density of content that matters.” Borzymowski wanted to convey the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 are totally set in different worlds and time periods. Their structures are different and even though the latter has a bigger area, it is mostly wilderness.
