DC FanDome: Which Movies and TV Shows will be Launched at the New DC Event?

DC Comics fans finally have a date to look forward to as Warner Bros. has announced the virtual DC Fandome on 22nd August, 2020.

The DC FanDome comes as a treat for the DC Comics fans as the event will provide them with a lot more than a mere glimpse of their beloved upcoming DC films and TV shows.

Entertainment Weekly reports that DC FanDome will be an online global event. Moreover, it will be free and stream for 24 hours allowing fans across the globe to watch the event.

DC FanDome: Who will be a part of the event?

Although the event is only in the planning phase as of now, Warner Bros. confirmed that there will be six different areas that will be fully programmed. Fans will be able to see reveals and panels, and also screenings and special programmings.

The event is a massive undertaking. Initially, the cast of following are announced to be a part of the event: Aquaman, Watchmen, DC Super Hero Girls, Batwoman, Black Lightning, Snyder Cut of Justice League, Superman & Lois, The Batman, Black Adam, Lucifer, DC’s Stargirl, Teen Titans GO!, Young Justice: Outsiders, Doom Patrol, Titans, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Wonder Woman 1984, Harley Quinn, Pennyworth, Watchmen, SHAZAM, The Suicide Squad and Supergirl. The creators of these shows will also join their respective cast.

DC FanDome: Will these titles feature in SDCC?

Thus, the virtual version of the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC), also known as the Comic-Con at Home, scheduled to be held from 22nd to 26th July will not feature these titles. The SDCC would have happened back in April had it not been for the coronavirus pandemic.

Perhaps, fans are looking forward to Ryan Wilder, the new character of Batwoman, who will replace Kate Kane following Ruby Rose’s departure.
