Just like every other movie or TV show was delayed over the last few months, this anime was also affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, a new report was released recently that the anime is back in production now. It is yet to be determined whether this piece of news is true or not.

A Twitter user claimed that the second season is now in the works. Although there has been no official word from the producers of the anime, fans are pretty sure that we will get to see the next instalment very soon.

Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who lost his family to a demon attack, is the protagonist of this anime. He has vowed to take revenge and get back his sister Nezuko, the only survivor of the attack. But she was turned into a demon. Over the period, Tanjiro also became a demon. And that he did only because he wanted to fight those who murdered his family.

Plot Predictions For The Upcoming Season

Speculations are that Tanjiro has already honed his skills and has enough strength and power to face the demons, at last. He will also demonstrate how he can use his weapons and prove whether Kyojuro Rengoku has trained him enough to be the best fighter to face the villains.

Fans are expecting to see all the original cast members returning in Season 2.
