Demon Slayer Season 2 release date should be announced soon as the Infinity Train movie is coming out on October 16. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train will act as a buffer between the first and second season of the anime series and it is also the main reason why there was a delay in the first place.

Now that the Infinity Train movie is coming out in Japan, there should be a maximum waiting period of one or two months before the anime comes out. It means Demon Slayer Season 2 can release around the end of 2020 or early 2021 easily. Demon Slayer Season 2 will be out on Netflix once all the episodes are released and fans can stream the anime from around March of April 2021 on the streaming service.

Muzan is the main villain of the storyline and Tanjiro needs to kill the demon king and liberate all the demons from the clutches of monsters. Demon Slayer Season 2 will have possibly a total of 26 episodes similar to the first season and the storyline will have no issues as the manga is already complete.
