The anime series is based on the works of Koyoharu Gotōge and it has become globally popular. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 will be a story about Tanjiro and his friends who want to free Japan from demons after his sister Nezuko has become half-demon.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date and COVID-19 Delay
Demon Slayer Season 2 release date should have been out by now if the COVID-19 pandemic has not affected the anime and manga industry. Most of the anime projects are pushed back several months due to the Coronavirus outbreak and it has also delayed the second season of the Demon Slayer series.

Fans should also note that Demon Slayer: Infinity Train movie is coming out on October 16, 2020, and there is no way the anime would come out before that. There are reports that Demon Slayer Season 2 release date is pushed back to early 2021 or it could even take till Summer 2021 for the anime to premiere.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Spoilers and Infinity Train Connection
Demon Slayer Season 2 story will not start directly after the first season ended as the Infinity Train movie has been set up for that. Tanjiro and the other demon slayer corps have boarded the Infinity Train to help out the Fire Pillar Kyojuru to stop the demons from killing people on a train.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Train movie will act as a bridge between the first and the second season of the anime series. Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 spoilers suggest that it will cover the manga storyline from Chapter 108 onwards and introduce the other Pillars and Muzan as the main villain.
