Ever since the finale of Euphoria Season 1, the fans are awaiting what’s in for Rue, Jules, Nate, and other characters. The production was kept on hold for the time being due to the current coronavirus pandemic. Zendaya then talked to MJ Rodriguez about the updates regarding the new episodes during a talk for Variety’s Actors on Actors issue.
Season 2 Schedule
The former Disney Channel actress also mentioned that the cast and production team was ready to start shooting for the 2nd season from March 16. But due to the widespread COVID-19, the scheduled work had to be postponed.

She added that everything was set up and ready to start with scripts being written too. “Literally, three or four days before that, they were shut down,” “I was like, dang, ‘I was so close.’ We did camera tests and hair and makeup tests, and we got to see everybody and we had the sets were built.”
Rodriguez was grateful for her safety at this point but then also showed disappointment for not being able to start working on the HBO sets for the new season of Euphoria as she “knows what’s to come” in the episodes lined up.

Season 2 Cast
Further, the tabloids have teased more about the Euphoria Season 2 with Zendaya’s little sister Gia Bennet (Storm Reid) talking about her character scripted to develop and making it her own. With this, it is also rumored that new addition to the cast has been introduced after the finale of Season 1.
Interestingly the series has also been in the news for more reasons than one, even during the downtime. Recently in Zoom class, they taught fans to create various makeup looks that were used through Season 1 and an auction that allowed people to own a bit of the show.
