The NFL Pre-season is in full flow and the NFL just round the corner. With that comes the season of Fantasy Football 2019. The main problem while drafting a Fantasy team to perform well through the season is the drafting of tight ends.
The problem of tight ends in Fantasy Football 2019
Tight ends are locked in definite tiers in Fantasy Football 2019. It’s important to either be one of the first three to draft a tight or be the last. Drafting a tight end in the first tier in Fantasy Football 2019 comes with its own problems. You’d be lacking quality at wide receiver and running back positions.
So it’s better not to draft a tight end in the first tier itself in Fantasy Football 2019. More prominent positions are indeed the running back and the wide receiver. So you might want your tight end to sit out at times. Here are the best bets on Tight ends at every positions.
The tier wise tight end guide
Zach Ertz – Philadelphia Eagles
The best tight end available in Tier 1 of Fantasy Football 2019. Zach Ertz provides the best touchdowns percentage in Tier 1 in NFL. He tops the list for most touchdowns in the last 2 seasons with 15. Ertz is also on the fourth or fifth round of the tight end draft in Tier 1 compared to Kelce’s first and Kittle’s second.
Travis Kelce – Kansas City Chiefs
George Kittle – San Francisco 49ers
Evan Engram – New York Giants
The best tight end in his tier and probably the only one a Tier other than 1 that can finish in Top 3. If you can’t take the Tier 1 tight ends,Engram is the best bet with him playing a second offense for the Giants, the first being Saquon Barkley.

O.J.Howard – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Hunter Henry – Los Angeles Chargers
David Njoku – Cleveland Browns
Jack Doyle – Indianapolis colts
If the top 3 tight ends don’t fit my plans, i will have Doyle on all my games. Doyle also goes very late in his draft and can provide a big boost in PPR. When fit, he completed 80 catches, easily the best at tight end.
Jared Cook – New Orleans Saints
Eric Ebron – Indianapolis colts
Vance MacDonald – Pittsburgh Steelers
Greg Olsen – Carolina Panthers
Austin Hooper – Atlanta Falcons
Delanie Walker – Tennessee Titans
Trey Burton- Chicago Bears
Chris Herndon IV, New York Jets
T.J. Hockenson, Detroit Lions
Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins
Mike Gesicki is the guy for me in this young players’ list. The choices may change based on first 2 weeks performance.
