God of War: Ragnarok release date is something every gamer wants to know as the entire fandom is waiting for the latest installment of the action-adventure game. It has been more than five months since God of War: Ragnarok was confirmed by Santa Monica studios but there are hardly any other official updates regarding the game.
There was a recent “State of the Play” event last week but somehow nothing new on God of War: Ragnarok was revealed. However, Cory Balrog, the game director has shared some updated on God of War: Ragnarok and fans are having mixed reactions on that.
God of War: Ragnarok Release Date Updates by Cory Balrog
God of War: Ragnarok is still in development and hence it makes sense for the game developers not to announce a release date as it could get delayed and receive criticism similar to Cyberpunk 2077, which was delayed multiple times.
Cory Balrog took to Twitter and shared a gif with the caption, “I don’t know who needs to hear this… (certainly not me since I have never heard of it) but… WHEN. IT’S. DONE. (trust that it’s what’s best for everyone)”

The game director is simply giving hints on the release date of God of War: Ragnarok and saying that the title will come out when it is done and there is no point asking again and again. Sony promised that God of War: Ragnarok will release in 2021 but then again they are not the ones actually developing the game and it might take some time.
God of War: Ragnarok Gameplay and Story Details
God of War: Ragnarok gameplay will be similar to previous titles where Kratos will roam around the Norse world and kill the Gods. The previous God of War had Atreus (Loki) as a playable character too and the same can happen again in the sequel as he is an important part of the storyline.
God of War: Ragnarok title suggests that the game story will be inspired by the Norse mythology where the world ends in form of Ragnarok and Thor is expected to be the main villain for the final boss fight.
