Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are finally here! After a long, long wait, both the new Pixel smartphones have finally been officially announced by Google at the ‘Made By Google’ event. The phones have many new and improved features compared to their previous generation variants. The camera, in particular, has gotten a huge boost!
Let us take a closer look at the fourth-gen Pixel smartphones and everything that we know about them so far!
Honestly, while the specs may not impress much I do have to admit that Pixel devices are a lot like Canon cameras. On paper the specs are meh but when you start using them they grow on you quite a bit. So, I’m excited to try the Pixel 4 regardless.

Google Pixel 4 Review Roundup: Complete Specs and Details
Pixel 4, as well as 4 XL, have identical features apart from the screen size and battery life. The regular-sized variant comes with a 5.7-inch display while the XL variant offers a 6.3-inch display. The XL variant has a bigger battery life though it was not specified. Both the phones will run on 6GB of RAM and will come in a base variant of 64GB storage while an upgrade of 128GB is available too. Both the Pixel smartphones will be powered by Snapdragon 855 processor from Qualcomm.
The phones come with a primary 12 MP camera on the back along with a 16 MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. An 8MP front camera is also present. The cameras are very impressive and can even capture the stars, planets, and galaxies!
Pixel 4 was the phone that I wanted to get for my upgrade coming this Christmas.
But now… now I'm conflicted….
No wide angle camera is a big negative for me as it was something that I thought was pretty neat, and it's sad to see that it's not going to be on their new lineup
