GoPro Hero 9 Specs: Dual Touchscreen Display and Full Waterproof Body
GoPro Hero 9 will be the first time that the action camera makers change its form factor completely. The latest model Hero 8 Black had some design changes along with some first-time features and GoPro can repeat the same for Hero 9 model. As per the GoPro patent document leaks, the Hero 9 screen shows a slightly changed menu with the “Displays” option instead of the regular “Touch Display.”
It has sparked rumors that GoPro Hero 9 could be the first camera from the company to have two displays. GoPro Hero 9 will have dual displays in the form of a rear-facing touchscreen and a front-facing viewing display. It makes sense for GoPro Hero 9 to introduce dual-screen feature as the rival DJI had already done it with the Osmo action camera last year. There are also rumors that GoPro will make the Hero 9 a fully waterproof action camera by including a built-in fold-down mount.
GoPro Hero 9 Release Date for Fall 2020 Confirmed
GoPro Hero 9 release date should be set around in Fall 2020 which makes it September of October this year to be more exact. There are also rumors that GoPro could launch the HERO9 action camera earlier this year due to high demands, but that seems less possible due to the COVID-19 pandemic. GoPro won’t reveal much about the Hero 9 price and specs details until the camera launch is just a few weeks away.
