It was Thursday, June 27 when the self-made star gashed himself at his home. If sources are to believed, someone from Adler’s Los Angeles residence made a call to 911 shortly after the havoc disrupted.

Someone from his neighbor reported the incident of Adler stabbing himself to police authorities. Paramedics treated Adler under non-life-threatening injuries.

Police officials have suspected no one under involvement of case. Not to mention that the whole affair seems to be a clear case of suicide attempt, done with Adler’s full consciousness.

Adler has also been a substance-abuser for quite some time. His drug addiction lead to his fall from Guns N’ Roses in 1990. Moreover, his eventual decline pushed him more into depression and life-taking drug use. However, the band inducted him along with other members to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. Adler went with a hard life, all alone while struggling with his addictions.
