Valve has been a company that has been trolling the fans for the past several years as fans continue to expect a Half Life 3 release date. In a recent announcement, the company teased that there’s a chance that the much-awaited game might finally get a release date – but that seems to just not happen as the company went ahead to announce new games in the Half Life series but the third game was still not a part of the plan.
i think the most annoying thing about valve is the reason they wont make half life 3 is because of The Expectation that it has now. but it only has that expectation because theyve refused to make it or talk about it for 12 years.

Reasons for Half Life 3’s Delay
One of the biggest reasons as to why this game is being delayed is the fact that Gabe Newell, the chief at Valve wants to ensure that the third game in the series is equally good and perhaps even better than what the first two had to offer.
Half Life 2 came out in 2004 and it has been 15 years since then! Valve has released a number of hit games over these years and has announced some ambitious new games as well. Yet, Half Life 3 doesn’t figure in the company’s plans. Every now and then we hear that a team has been assembled to work on it but that just seems to be the rumor mill at play!
Give me cyberpunk 2077, diablo 4, portal 3 and half-life 3 already 😴
