Henry Ross Perot was born to Gabriel Ross and Lula May Perot in 27th June 1930, in Texarkana, Texas. He went to a private school called Patty Hill and graduated from Texas High School.
Henry Ross Perot was a hardworking and competitive child from the beginning. Likewise, he earned the title, ‘Eagle Scout’ in his adult life. From 1947-49 he attended Texarkana Junior College. He joined the US Naval Academy in 1949 and initiated its honour.

Leaving Navy in 1957, he began to work as a salesman in IBM After being a success at IBM he found Electronic Data Systems in 1962, amassing $2.5 billion in his 50s by selling a controlling interest in EDS to General Motors. Likewise in 1988, his Perot Systems came to life. Perot was a gem as an investor for NeXT, a Steve Jobs enterprise after he left Apple.
In 1995, Perot formed the Reform Party and won 8% votes in the presidential elections the following year, lesser than his votes in 1992. Consequently putting a full stop on his candidacy in the elections.

Besides a tech entrepreneur and billionaire, Perot was a true patriot. He still was engaged in bettering the conditions of US prisoners in the Vietnam War. As a result, he visited Laos and met the ambassadors of Russia and North Vietnam. Consequently, Henry Ross Perot received the Medal for Distinguished Service by the Department of Defense in 1974 for his strive.
Perot was a humanitarian. In 1979, he undertook the campaign to bring back two EDS employees, detained during the revolution of Iran. He arranged and paid for the mission called ‘HotFoot’ to save them and was successful in his endeavour.
