Hulu's Looking for Alaska has released its sneak peak

The teenage clan of Culver Creek are rising from the book and hitting the HULU screens with the ‘Looking For Alaska’ series adaptation. The teaser landed on Friday, and looked lighter on the plot but heavy on the mood.

The first ever novel of John Green, Looking for Alaska was published in March of 2005. The novel secured 2006 Michael L.Printz Award from the American Library Association.

Further making it to the leaderboard of association’s list of 2015’s most challenged books because of profanity and explicit sexual scenes.

Green’s own high school experience became the motivation for his book, Looking For Alaska which is a young adult fiction. It encircles the journey of Miles Halter who moves to the boarding school bidding goodbyes to his safe life at home.

Famous last words fascinate our young protagonist. However, he meets Alaska Young, the beautiful, screwed up soul in the new school. He falls in love with her however, the destiny has something else for him in store as Alaska meets her death.

Hulu's adaptation of Looking for Alaska teaser is out now

The teaser of Looking for Alaska threw light on the major characters of the miniseries, which included Miles “Pudge” Halter played by Charlie Pummer and Alaska young portrayed by Kristine Forseth.

Alaska appeared saying, “Teenagers think they’re invincible, they don’t know how right they are”. The eight episode series is based on Joh Green’s novel of the same name. Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage(The OC Gossip Girl)  are working on the series for Hulu viewers.

Pilot script of the show is penned by Schwartz. However, Looking for Alaska will be produced by Schwartz, Savage and Green together. The novel adaptation will roll down the screens of Hulu on Friday, i.e October 18th.

So all the Green fans don’t miss out on another fabulous one after tearing whole time in the theatre while watching Fault in Our Stars.
