What is Inuyasha?
For those not in the now about Inuyasha, it was a widely popular manga and anime series that ran between 1996-2008. Consecutively a second run took place between 2009-2010 which marked an end to Inuyasha’s story. But apparently there is more to be told about Inuyasha’s story since a sequel is expected.
The project is named Hanyo, no Yashahime and shows children of the beloved characters. However, something that we found noteworthy: Inuyasha along with Sesshomaru (Inuyasha’s brother) appear in the background, which evidences that we will see these characters return.
The anime sequel is sure to catch everyone’s attention. The English title for the series is Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon. Daughters of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha will appear with brand new adventures.

Inuyasha Sequel: Here’s What We Heard About The Plot
“In Feudal Japan, Half-Demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated from each other during a forest fire. While desperately searching for her younger sister, Towa wanders into a mysterious tunnel that sends her into present-day Japan, where she is found and raised by Kagome Higurashi’s brother, Sota, and his family.”
10 years later, the tunnel connecting the two eras unexpectedly reopened, allowing Towa and Setsuna, who is a Demon Slayer, to reunite. From what is seems, Setsuna remembers nothing about his older sister.

Inuyasha’s daughter and Kagome, along with Moroha, will be travelling between 2 eras in a hunt for their missing past.
As of now, no details about when Yashahime: Pricess Half-Demon will start production are available. Also, no date of release is available either. However, we are being vigilant for any official announcements coming from the makers in regards of these dates. We will keep this section updated with the same. Meanwhile, the fans cannot wait to once again see Inuyasha.
