Apple iOS 14 will bring a lot of cool new features and updates but the question remains whether it will be compatible with your iPhone or not. While the last iOS update almost supported every iPhone, there are rumors that iOS 14 might not be compatible with the iPhone 6S series. Apple has always been consistent about the lifespan of its iPhone and most of the times newer updates are not supported by older iPhones citing hardware requirements limitations. It is also a ploy to make the older iPhones obsolete and so far the time window is five years after the release date. Apple iPhones which are five years or older generally don’t support new iOS updates and it has been used to speculate that which iPhone series will support iOS 14 and which won’t be compatible.

The recently released iOS 13 was compatible with iPhone 6S or higher models. Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus will be five years older in 2020 and as per the tech reports, it won’t be able to run on iOS 14 as the operating system doesn’t match the hardware requirements. It means all the iPhone released from 2017 will support the Apple iOS 14 update and it includes:
