James Bond spinoff movie is apparently in works at Sony as they are looking to expand the franchise even after the exit of Daniel Craig. There have been several attempts at parodies and spinoffs for the James Bond movie series as it is such a popular character. It is reported that Phoebe Waller-Bridge has been hired to write and develop a James Bond spinoff project.
The movie could be based on Bond’s daughter Mathilde whom the spy will train from an early age to become an assassin. It would be a nice way to bring back Daniel Craig in small cameos while expanding the work of James Bond further. James Bond spinoff release date could happen around 2022 as the movie is currently in very early stages. The makers are probably more worried about the theatrical release of James Bond: No Time to Die which was delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak, and will now come out on November 20 this year.

The Fleabag actress who is also a writer, Phoebe Waller-Bridge is currently working on the script and the production house is very excited to bring agent 007 as a father. Fans can expect the James Bond spinoff trailer at the end of next year which will also announce its theatrical release date.
