Lashana Lynch is already famous for her role as Carlo Denver’s bestfriend Maria Rambeau. Lynch has previously played as ‘Nomi’ in a behind the scenes documentary of James Bond.
007 would now be Lashana’s number
Lynch will now replace a retired James Bond as 007. The elite Double-O section will recruit Lashana Lynch. Daniel Craig though will still remain everyone’s favorite James Bond. But the ageing spy will transfer his code to Lashana Lynch as the younger 007.
The movie will be directed by Phoebe Waller Bridge. The makers have brought Bridge to bring the kind of intriguing twists she’s now famous for in Fleabag and Killing Eve. An inside source reveals an insight about Bridge’s upcoming twist to boost up Bond 25’s stocks.
“Bond, of course, is sexually attracted to the new female 007 and tries his usual seduction tricks, but is baffled when they don’t work on a brilliant, young black woman.”
James Bond to remain true to its treatment of women
James Bond since 1950s is famous for his sexual politics. There’s a lot of talk among pundits about the strategy becoming irrelevant with time. The feminists have raised questions about the image of females in Bond movies. Bridge though shrugged of claims of irrelevance and justified Bond’s character.
“The important thing is that the film treats the women properly.
“He doesn’t have to. He needs to be true to his character.”
Léa Seydoux, Ana de Armas, Naomie Harris will join Daniel Craig and Lashana Lynch in Bond 25. The film will release on 13 February in 2020 initially. Bond’s task is to rescue a kidnapped scientist and will fight a villain armed with a mysterious technology.
