A rematch “only fair” – Jon Jones

Jon Jones thinks it’s fair to have a rematch with the injured warrior. The two aggressive stars produced a match for the ages matching each round neck to neck. Jones’ called for the rematch days after UFC president called Santos undeserving of a rematch.

Jon Jones himself is having trouble off the octagon right now. He’s facing battery charges over a strip club incident. A waitress accused him of teasing and touching which the fighter immediately denied.

‘Bones’ has previously expressed the wish for a fight by the end of this year. A fight at Madison Square Garden is a real possibility since he has hinted at it before. The matchups are quite exciting with Corey Anderson and Jan Blachowicz as possible opponents.

Santos meanwhile would be happy with the Jones’ agreement to the rematch. The injured fighter would hope his recovery goes as per plan as the rematch is inspiring.
