The Los Angeles Lakers will try their best to seal the No. 1 spot in the western conference. The primary challenge which will stop them from maintaining it are their rivals, LA Clippers.

In a head to head match, Clippers lead the Lakers by 2-1. However, Lakers won the last fixture right before the season closed.

Right now, the teams occupy the first and second spot in the Western Conference. The Clippers have a record of 44-20. On the other hand, Lakers have a record of 49-14.

The Lakers will have to face a major setback as they will not be able to avail the services of Avery Bradley and Rajon Rondo. Bradley refused to return, while Rajon broke his thumb during a practice season.

The Clippers will miss the services of Lou Williams and Montrezl  Harrell. Both left the bubble for their personal reasons.

Anthony Davis injured his eye playing against Orlando Magic. For the entire game,  after being hurt he had to warm the bench. He also missed practice sessions  and his upcoming games. His return seemed doubtful, but Lakers claimed that he will be back on court soon.

Both the teams have provided nail biting finishes to their fans while playing head to head. Despite of Lakers’ recent victories, season history points towards Clippers.

The teams are missing their key players which has disturbed their winning combination.

Anthony Davis and LeBron  might prove to be dynamic for the Paul George and Kawhi Leonard duo in the game. The clippers lost Trez and Lou who were able to provide energetic start to the game.

Lakers still have to exploit the services of Anthony Davis as there is no matchup available.
