Lucifer Season 5 has started filming and we are getting closer and closer to the first footage from the show. The writers’ room of Lucifer has been sharing the episodes titles and so far fans know the names of the first six episodes are knows. Netflix saved the show and now everyone is ready to say goodbye to their favorite devil.

It has been confirmed that the fifth and final season of Lucifer will have a total of 16 episodes which will be released in two batches of 8 episodes. Netflix has announced the 16 episodes and with script finalized and filming underway, it won’t take much time for season 5 of Lucifer to release. The previous season of Lucifer, Season 4 which was the first time it released on Netflix aired in May 2019. Based on the speculation and production timing, Lucifer season 5 on Netflix should release somewhere around Spring 2020 in the next year.

Lucifer Season 5 Updates from Cast and Crew Members

As the release date of Lucifer Season 5 is getting closer, the cast and crew of the show have been dropping a lot of hints. Lesley-Ann Brandt who plays the character of Maze has been sharing her workout and fight practice videos, indicating a big battle with the enemies in the upcoming season.

Valerie Morehouse, one of the vocal coaches on the show posted a picture of Tom Ellis and Brandt with a guitar, indicating a musical episode or them signing. The showrunner Joe Henderson has also kind of confirmed that they always wanted a musical episode and it looks like Lucifer season 5 will fulfill that wish.
