When Fox cancelled Lucifer, fans of the show were really, really upset. And their disappointment was justified too because the show was really interesting and intrigued millions of viewers. Thankfully, Netflix came to the rescue of the viewers and swooped up the show after it got canned from Fox – creating the fourth season for their own platform. The wait now begins for Lucifer Season 5 on Netflix.

Lucifer Season 5 on Netflix: What to Expect?
The fourth season came to a rather emotional finish and a fifth season has officially been confirmed by Netflix so there’s no doubt on if the show will be coming back. Showrunners Henderson and Modrovich have been extremely grateful for this opportunity by Netflix and also thanked the fans for their support which helped revive the show.

What we know about Lucifer Season 5 is that the show will have six extra hours – meaning it will feature 16 episodes! The filming has already begun in September 2019 and should be wrapping up by late December or early 2020.
Currently watching one of my favorite episodes. "God Johnson".
Hope he will return in Season 5. By the way @JBFilms @netflix @warnerbrostv please #Lucifer #MoreThan5Seasons 🙏🙏❤️❤️— Sonja 🇩🇪😊 (@sun_shine_sonja) November 17, 2019
Is This the Last Season for Lucifer?

Image EW
Yes, this will be the last season for Lucifer. Fans of the show will be disappointed but at least the show will get to end itself on its own terms and will be getting a proper storyline to finish things off. Moreover, the six extra hours mean six new episodes which ensure that the season will not be rushed to a finish. Towards the end of Season 4, Lucifer returns to Hell and Lucifer Season 5 will continue the story from there.
