It seems that the COVID-19 pandemic halted the filming of the fifth season and the finale episode is still not finished. Lucifer Season 5 will resume shooting soon as hinted by the lead star Tom Ellis and here are more details on the show’s return and storyline.
Lucifer Season 5B or Part 2 Release Date by Tom Ellis
Tom Ellis in a recent interview revealed that they will return to set soon for filming the show. The devil star said that they still have one episode, Episode 16, left to shoot for Season 5B before they go straight to filming Season 6.
The second eight episodes, I’m not sure when they’re going to drop because we’ve still got the finale, halfway through. So we go back, we start with that, and then we go straight into season six, and hopefully fans will see Lucifer Season 5B “sort of Christmastime or early next year.
Lucifer Season 5B or Season Part 2 release date should be set somewhere around December 2020 or January 2021 for sure.
