We all talk about Mark Wahlberg’s success. It’s his wife Rhea Durham who made him the man he is today. Let’s get to know more about Rhea Durham.
Who is Rhea Durham?
Born in Lakeland, Florida, Rhea Durham is seven years younger than her husband. She began her modelling career as a teenager in 1995. She soon became successful and landed up on the fashion magazine covers nationally as well as internationally including Marie Claire, Vogue and Elle. Signing up with Revlon brought about a huge change in Rhea’s life.
Soon after this she met his future husband Mark Wahlberg. Their romantic story began shortly and the two started their family soon. Rhea and Mark had their first child named Ella Rae two years after they became an official couple.
In 2006, the couple had their second child Michael and two years later came Brendan. In 2010, Rhea and Mark had a daughter named Grace Margaret. Grace was born after the two got married.

When did Mark and Rhea get married?
Mark married Rhea in a small ceremony at a Catholic church in Beverly Hills in 2009. Durham let go of her Baptist roots and converted to Catholicism before her marriage.
Mark’s fan believed that he would stay a bachelor, but things changed after he met Rhea. Durham was behind the great transformation that Wahlberg went through. Wahlberg said,
I owe a lot to my wife. She has helped me become the man that I am and created a beautiful life for me and our children. Until I met her, I wasn’t ready to have a family.
Mark went on to explain,
You need the right woman in your life and that feeling that you’re going to be together for a long time. That’s especially important if you’re going to have children. Rhea always wanted to be a mother. She had a job, but her mission in life was to be a mother and to be a wife.
