Traditionally, Vogue’s September issue has always been significant. However, this one’s a little more extravagant as the Rebellious Royal Meghan Markle edited it.

To add more spice the September’s issue will give an insight into a conversation between Michelle Obama and Meghan. Nevertheless, we won’t have the beautiful Duchess of Sussex on the cover as reported by Vogue Editor-in-chief Edward Enninful. Furthermore, she added the reason for it is the fact that Meghan Markle didn’t wish to boast about herself.

What’s The September Issue of Vogue 2019 About?

The September Vogue Issue edited by Meghan Markle, the first person to do so is going to touch topics of Women’s empowerment and diversity. Furthermore, to honor the Issue Vogue has selected 15 women to grace the magazine cover.

The Issue is going to focus on women who ‘Break Barriers’. Although, being one of the kind Meghan Markle has denied to be on the cover.

The magazine’s cover is titled Forces for Change and is a division into 16 boxes. With 15 filled with the powerful women celebs.

However, one blank space is used as a mirror that includes the readers and encourages them to be a change via their own platforms.

The Editor-In-Chief expresses his gratitude for the work of Meghan Markle saying,

To have the country’s most influential beacon of change guest edit British Vogue at this time has been an honour, a pleasure, and a wonderful surprise. As you will see from her selections throughout this magazine, she is willing to wade into more complex and nuanced areas, whether they concern female empowerment, mental health, race or privilege.

Meghan Markle choosing not to appear on the cover but rather place they’re the women she admires is a move in itself though. Further, the cover will have the 15 most inspiring women in the world.

From Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Greta Thunberg, Laverne Cox, Jameela Jamil, Jacinda Arden, Gemma Chan, Adwords Aboah to Jane Fonda will be on the cover. Furthermore, we’ll see also Salma Hayek Pinault, Yara Shahidi, Christy Turlington Burns and Adult Akech adding to the Issue.

The most awaited Issue is set to arrive on the newsstand’s this Friday, 2nd August.
