Miami defense prospect Kendrick Norton loses arm in car crash

Kendrick Norton suffered serious injuries on his left arm following a car wreck on Thursday. He has his left arm amputated as result. The unfortunate accident happened at the Dolphin Expressway where Kendrick Norton crashed into a wall. The news comes a day Jared Lorenzen’s death and is a double shock to the NFL fans.

Norton’s agent delivered a statement on twitter regarding the same.

“With sadness, I can confirm that Kendrick Norton was in a car accident last night and suffered multiple injuries, including the amputation of his arm,” Norton’s agent, Malki Kawa, tweeted.

His family has asked people to respect their privacy and want to be left alone at this point.

Kendrick Norton: Reasons of the crash “unknown”

The defensive tackle, Kendrick Norton was driving in the early hours of July 4 on State Road 836 when the accident happened, Lt. Alex Camacho of The Florida Highway Patrol said. Norton’s car then banged into a concrete brick wall after which the car flipped landing head on.

The reasons of the crash are unknown as per the police. Norton’s injury is a major setback to one of the budding careers and as unfortunate as they come. Miami Dolphins too delivered a statement offering help and prayers to Norton.


“Our thoughts and prayers are with Kendrick and his family during this time.”

Hurricanes star Norton yet to play in NFL

Kendrick Norton’s amputation of arm would end his dream of playing at NFL. This is such a heartbreaking moment for an exciting talent. Kendrick Norton was a star a University of Miami’s Hurricanes. He played all their matches in 2013 and was mentioned at All ACC.

He was then signed by California Panthers in 2018 in his first senior. But without playing a match there he was signed by his dream team Miami Dolphins. Kendrick Norton was expected to boost up Miami’s defense this season but the dream has ended prematurely with this.
