MLB trade news and rumors are heating up as Winter is coming and it will lead to some big trade deals such as David Price sold out the Boston Red Sox and Kris Bryant leaving the Chicago Cubs. Both the baseball players, Price and Bryant are amazing at their positions and a lot of MLB teams are ready to sign them.
The Red Sox and Cubs are the clubs that need to make some changes and free up some of their cap space. Here are the MLB trade predictions for David Price-Boston Red Sox and Kris Bryant- Chicago Cubs and possible deals for them.
Boston Red Sox Trading David Price for Luxury Tax Cap
Boston Red Sox wants to bring their organization under the luxury tax cap and they are currently over $208 million, which means they need to cut out $28 million in some form of a trade deal. The quickest way to get the luxury cap space under the limit for MLB 2020 season is to trade out two of their highest-paid players, David Price and Mookie Betts. Betts is just 27-years-old in his prime shape and an amazing outfielder, and it means that the Red Sox are left with Price.
No progress for #RedSox in trade discussions involving David Price, sources tell The Athletic. #Padres, who badly want to moves Wil Myers, are among clubs Boston has spoken with. Pads extremely active, involved in a large, almost dizzying, number of pursuits.

David Price has still a three years-96 million contract left where the Red Sox has to pay the veteran $32 million per MLB season. While some of the MLB experts argue that Boston should renegotiate David Price’s contract to around $20 million per year, there are at least 5 MLB teams interested in him including San Diego Padres, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds, and Los Angeles Angels.
Kris Bryant Leaving Chicago Cubs
Chicago Cubs are also prepping up for some big changes and their third baseman Kris Bryant is getting a lot of trade offers after Anthony Rendon went to the Angels and Mike Moustakas left the team to join the Reds. It makes sense to trade out Bryant as he will become a free agent after MLB 2021 season or even sooner than that.
Don’t fucking trade Kris Bryant. Do not

The Cubs are currently facing a grievance case from Kris Bryant on the issue of time served at the major league level. If Bryant wins, he would be a free agent at the end of next season or if Chicago wins, his contract will be extended till 2021. Most of the MLB teams except Texas Rangers or the Washington Nationals can sign Kris Bryant and the market will be full of buyers.
