Nate Diaz is one of the most controversial names when it comes to UFC. Be it his retirement a few years ago and then an eventual return, or the pre-UFC 244 doping controversy or his loss via doctor stoppage – controversies continue to follow Diaz in whatever he does. However, is he done for good now or is there still scope for Diaz vs McGregor III? Let us take a closer look at Nate Diaz’s future in the UFC.

Nate Diaz vs Conor McGregor III Happening?
Nate Diaz vs Conor McGregor III is a dream match for many UFC viewers. Both the men too, have expressed desire to face each other, with Conor even supporting Diaz in his fight against Masvidal, hoping that he could face him for a third time. Diaz and McGregor have won one match each against each other and this would be the ‘decider’.
However, McGregor is all set to face a new opponent (likely Justin Gaethje), followed by Jorge Masvidal, and then Khabib Nurmagomedov. But if Diaz is willing, there is a good chance that this fight between McGregor vs Diaz can be accommodated in his schedule.
I asked Nate Diaz this evening if he was actually retired given his social media post earlier this week.
He replied, “Who said I was retired?”
I said, “I think people thought it meant you were done with MMA."
He replied, "I’ll fight tonight."

When Diaz lost against Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244 there was a lot of speculation about his future in the company. However, during an interview with Ariel Halwani, Diaz confirmed this by saying ‘who said i’m retired’. Details on his next opponent are likely to be out sometime in 2020.
