Happening at Madison Square Garden, the show was packed with some big matches and the biggest of them all was Diaz vs Masvidal for the ‘BMF’ Championship. The event was so huge that even Hollywood A-listers such as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson had confirmed their presence. This fight, much to the viewers’ dismay, is not going to happen anymore! Nate Diaz vs Jorge Masvidal Cancelled

Reports started breaking out a few hours ago that Nate Diaz might have violated some doping regulations and he will have to pull out of the fight. This was followed by an official confirmation from Diaz, stating that he will indeed have to step down from the UFC 244 main event.

Diaz was found with ‘elevated levels’ and on his Instagram, he has clarified that this just can’t be true because he only takes whole food or natural food supplements, he added that he doesn’t even eat meat! This has infuriated Diaz to such an extent that he has stepped down from fighting altogether, stating that until someone takes responsibility of this mess-up, he won’t fight. He added that he had been advised to keep quiet but he would speak up for himself as his dignity means more to him than the money.
