NBA 2K20 Updates

NBA 2K20 game has been making a lot of news lately and whether it is gameplay issues or the new updates, the makers do know how to stay in trends. The 2K Games developers have issued a new kind of update where the player ratings and badges are updated based on the current performance of those players in the real-life NBA 2019-20 season.

The National Basketball Association regular-season games have now completed two weeks and many players have either improved or dipped their stats and hence ratings have gone up or down for their NBA 2K20 avatars. The major names in 2K20 NBA whose OVR ratings are updated include Luka Doncic, Brandon Ingram, Derrick Rose, Trae Young, Zion Williamson and more.

The overall ratings for all these players have been updated by +4 points and now it is 89 points for Young, 85 points for Ingram, and 84 points for Rose. Meanwhile, Luka Doncic from Dallas Mavericks has crossed the 90 points mark in NBA 2K20 after his rating was bumped up by 3 points.

Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns) and Kyrie Irving (Brooklyn Nets) got a single point increase making their OVR ratings to 87 and 92 points respectively. Also, some players have lost points and it includes Nikola Jokic from Denver Nuggets losing one point and D’Angelo Russell from Golden State Warriors losing two points as compared to September ratings when the NBA 2K20 game was launched.

NBA 2K20 ratings don’t exactly follow the players’ real-life stats in the real NBA games and are more of updates to keep the game realistic. Still, for most of the players, their game performance and stats can affect their positions in the video game franchise.

Brandon Ingram who started with 4 badges in the game has now 14 badges due to his solid performance. The major reason behind this is the injury of Zion Williamson who was picked at No. 1 draft by the Pelicans and has currently low ratings in the NBA 2K20 game.
