Kevin Love is a misfit in the Cleveland Cavaliers which are performing badly with a 2-5 start for the NBA 2019-20 season. The Cavs general manager Koby Altman is saying that they have no intention of trading Kevin, but if they lose a few more games, the statement could easily change. The Cavaliers want some strong assets and given the market demand for Kevin Love, it won’t be that hard.

“I consider myself a stretch-6,” Marcus Smart jokes of him being called upon to match up with Kevin Love.

Love is doing great in the current NBA season so far and is second in rebounds per game (14.4) and also an average of 18.9 points per game. As the NBA trade deadline comes closer, Kevin Love can make new deals with the Lakers, Celtics or the Mavericks.
Los Angeles Lakers
Los Angeles Lakers look like the most suitable destination for Kevin Love as he and LeBron James have played and won NBA championship together in the Cavaliers team. The Lakers are at 6-1 for the NBA season after losing the opening games to the Clippers, but they would still need Love in their team. NBA playoffs game won’t be so easy and in the finals, Kevin Love can make the difference and help the Lakers win the title.
Kevin Love has always been linked to the Boston Celtics as their general manager Danny Ainge is a big fan of his game. The Celtics don’t have any big man in their roster and Love can easily clear the court with and help the team with his solid rebounding skills.
Boston would have to give out Jaylen Brown and the first round Memphis pick to the Cavaliers in order to make the Kevin Love trade deal happen, which may sound difficult but they would do it if Bradley Beal deal doesn’t happen.
Dallas Maverick is also in the race to sign Kevin Love and make a trade deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Mavs also have an interest in Love and his shotmaking skills and would definitely give their bid once the Cavaliers star is put on the trade market. Also, Kevin Love is a big fan of the Mavericks young star Luka Doncic and have called him the “future superstar of NBA.”
