NBA trade deadline might arrive in February 2020 but the players and teams are already preparing for new deals. The top contenders for NBA 2019-20 season title like Lakers, Clippers and Raptors are trying to make their rosters stronger for the upcoming playoffs.
Meanwhile, the NBA teams which are on major rebuilding process are looking to trade out players to acquire future draft picks. It is why the stars such as Andre Iguodala, Dion Waiters and Kristaps Porzingis could make new trade deals very soon and change their teams for the ongoing NBA season.
Andre Iguodala is currently under the control of Memphis Grizzlies who have no plans to buy out his contract and hence the 2015 MVP will most likely be traded soon. The Lakers are pretty much interested in him as Iguodala fits perfectly in their roster and there is also a risk of Clippers getting to him before them. Even LeBron James was struggling against Andre Iguodala in the NBA finals and LA Lakers signing him is ideal for everyone as they provide him another title opportunity.
“But the notion that Iggy to the Forum Blue and Gold seems to be so universally held a belief could certainly impact how hard other teams engage the Grizzlies in potential trade talks.”

Miami Heat is looking to trade out Dion Waiters for a long time but unfortunately, he have no trade value. The problem is that Miami owes $25 million salary to Waiters over the next two NBA seasons combined and selling him to get a player with lesser salary is not acceptable. To make the matters worse, Dion Waiters is hardly playing any games as has been suspended for another 10 games after the player experienced a panic attack from consuming a THC-infused edible.
UPDATE: Dion Waiters is the Heat player who had medical emergency on team plane, I’ve confirmed.
Waiters overdosed on “gummies,” sources say, and was passed out when plane landed.
He had a seizure when he was finally woken up, I’m told.
Waiters was listed out tonight (illness)

The former New York Knicks star Kristaps Porzingis was dealt to Dallas Mavericks during the end of last year’s NBA trade deadline. The reason behind such a hasty deal was Porzingi’s behavior which the Knicks could no longer tolerate. The Boston Celtics inquired about Kristaps Porzingis during the last season and might still be interested in him as the Mavericks could put him on the trade block soon.
Kristaps Porzingis said in Dallas today that he has ‘nothing but love for New York and the fans.’ He said he reacted emotionally after the trade when he ‘put out some stupid Instagram stories’ and later regretted it.
