Derek Carr and Jon Gruden are having a lot of differences in the Oakland Raiders and it seems one of them has to move out of the team. The Raiders will most probably move out Carr as Gruden has been already brought back for a second time to coach the team. As per the reports and several team sources, Raiders wants a better quarterback with big future potential in the upcoming NFL offseason.
While there is no personal grudge between Jon Gruden and Derek Carr, the coach is not happy with the veteran’s failing performance and has set eyes on a lot of new athletic college quarterbacks. It means that the Raiders will remove Carr from the team and get new players in NFL 2020 draft.
Derek Carr is Not Good Enough for Raiders
Derek Carr has not been good enough for the Oakland Raiders and was unable to make enough plays to break the 4-game losing streak for the team. The Raiders have fallen down from the No. 6 AFC seed to a team that would hope for a miracle to reach the playoffs in the ongoing NFL season.

The blame for this loss is 💯 on the offense, led by DEREK CARR!!! ZERO POINTS in the 2nd half!! Carr should not see Las Vegas, they won’t ever win a playoff game with this guy. STRAIGHT UP!!!

There are a lot of other factors that have weakened the offensive side of Oakland Raiders and despite paying a high salary to Carr, he is not good enough for his team. Jon Gruden knows that Derek Carr can’t change things now and it would be best in the interest of the team that they move on and find younger replacements.
Raiders have Bigger Plans for NFL 2020 Draft
Oakland Raiders currently have two first-round picks for the NFL 2020 draft which they will use to get a wide receiver and linebacker as Antonio Brown’s exit has made the first position empty.
Justin Herbert from Oregon and Jordan Love from Utah State will be their top choices to replace Derek Carr and Brown for the next NFL season. Jon Gruden wants a new face for the franchise as the Raiders move to Las Vegas in 2020 and Carr won’t make it the cut.
