Patrick Peterson will be clear to play in the NFL games from next week but it doesn’t mean that the Arizona Cardinals will have him back. The star cornerback was out from the first six weeks due to a suspension from NFL for using enhancing drugs. Leaving the matter aside, Peterson is an elite corner that will be useful in the defense side of any NFL team.

It is why around six to seven teams have asked the Cardinals for Peterson trade deal but they have been refusing every offer. However, they won’t be able to hold him for much longer if Peterson himself decides to leave. As per the reports, three teams are interested in Patrick Peterson and the Cardinals will be forced to trade the CB before the October 29 trade deadline.
NFL Teams are Interested in Patrick Peterson
Patrick Peterson is a three times All-Pro cornerback who is still considered as one of the best in the league. He made 54 tackles with two interceptions in the NFL 2018 season for the Cardinals. Peterson has never missed starting for the Cardinals and has made 128 consecutive starts after he was drafted in 2011 as the No. 5 overall pick.
Go get one, @Eagles

Patrick is 29 years old and can stay as an elite cornerback for a few more years in NFL. As for the 2019 season, the NFL market demands for CBs are very high given the lack of quality and injuries. Teams such as Eagles, Chiefs, Cowboys, etc. will gladly sign Patrick Peterson without any second thoughts.
High Salary and Suspension Issues for Peterson
The Arizona Cardinals won’t trade Peterson as they need him right now as they are at 2-3-1 in the 2019 NFL season. They would want him to play in the Cardinals vs Giants Week 7 game from their side. It doesn’t mean that the Cardinals won’t even listen to the trade offers for Peterson given how a good package deal can elevate their team.
Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson is back a week from now. How much of a difference will he make? I’m going to say a ton.

Kyler Murry needs strong supportive players and trading out Peterson can get them the required returns in exchange. Further, Patrick Peterson is returning after a PED suspension and carries a two-year contract with around $23 million. It would be wise of the Cardinals if they trade him out before October 29 and save their cap space for the next NFL season.
