Dallas Cowboys can’t seem to catch a break as they lost the last three games in the NFL 2019 season. In the last Sunday game, where the Cowboys lost to the winless New York Jets, their wide receiver Amari Cooper was also ruled out of the team due to a quad injury. While that injury might have no long term damage, Cooper was already suffering from an ankle issue and now it has gotten worse.
ALERT: We’re told Amari Cooper (quad) is in danger of not playing for #Cowboys … and that OTs Tyron Smith & La’el Collins continue to struggle with their injuries, too. Rough deal for #Eagles prep. pic.twitter.com/rj8DhwkyrX

Amari Cooper u fucking pussy. Played last game with an injury perfectly fine. Practiced all week perfectly fine. Play one drive vs the jets n you’re out now !?!? Walking on the sideline perfectly fine. No ice. No treatment. Nothing. Quit being a bitch!

Amari Cooper is on the sideline with a quad injury, and isn't wearing his helmet.
If he doesn't return, Gallup is easily the No. 1. Problem is, who else steps up?
Devin Smith and Randall Cobb are inactive.

Although the WR will return very soon, the Cowboys could use this injury as an opportunity and side a more effective player. Cooper has been missing out most of the catches as the passes thrown by Dak Prescott are stopped by the opposite teams. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is not happy as the team lost against the Jets on his birthday and someone has to pay the price. The Cowboys have placed Amari Cooper on the injured reserve list and could soon replace him with names such as Antonio Brown, Stefon Diggs or AJ Green.
Antonio Brown is eyeing for making a comeback in NFL and if not for his legal issues, Jerry Jones would have signed him in a heartbeat. As per the sources, Brown is trying hard to get his name clear from all the lawsuits and sexual harassment charges, and it might happen before the October 29 trade deadline. Brown as a weapon to Dak Prescott has a huge potential and the Cowboys are desperate to make a comeback, a deal sounds improbable but could happen soon.
One would say that Stefon Diggs played the last Sunday game for the Vikings, then how could he make a trade deal with the Cowboys. While it may appear that everything is right between the Minnesota Vikings and their wide receiver Diggs, it might be just an illusion. Diggs knows that he needs to prove his worth before any NFL team asks for him in the trade deadline. It could be the major reason why the Cowboys could ask for Diggs to replace or even play along with Amari Cooper.
AJ Green leaving the Cincinnati Bengals is almost confirmed and the All-Pro wide receiver is already listening to offer from other teams. The Cowboys signing Green makes much more sense as he is the one that could save the team from getting eliminated and reach the 2019 playoffs successfully. Even though all the trade options are just rumors and theories, the Cowboys could make a hasty decision in desperation.
