NFL Rumors: Odell Beckham Jr Leaving Cleveland Browns Confirmed after Disastrous 2019 Season

NFL Odell Beckham Jr Cleveland Browns

Odell Beckham Jr. is stuck in the Cleveland Browns who are having their worst NFL season with 2-6 record after half of the games. There is no way the Browns could qualify for the playoffs and Super Bowl title is now an impossible dream for any player on the roster. The star wide receiver Beckham Jr whom the Browns got from the Giants in a high profile trade deal is not happy with his team and has shown signs of being disgruntled by their poor performance.

NFL 2019 season has been a disaster so far for the Cleveland team and everyone is pointing fingers at each other. Meanwhile, Odell Beckham Jr. has performed great overall and is still blamed for failures of quarterback Baker Mayfield and coach Freddie Kitchens. It is why he is planning to leave the Cleveland Browns team and sign a deal with the NE Patriots or the LA Rams.

Cleveland Browns’ team chemistry is a joke, there is no coordination between Baker Mayfield and Odell Beckham Jr, and even the first-year coach Freddie Kitchens have no knowledge of calling plays. Beckham has been so far throwing better pass than Mayfield and still, everyone is keen on defending their star opening QB.

It has also made Odell’s numbers fall down and so far he is only 31st in the NFL in receptions (39) and 18th in yards (575). While everyone knows that he is of the best wide receivers, the real problem lies with the Browns team. Hence, Odell Beckham Jr. will most likely force the Cleveland side for a trade out and join the Patriots or the Rams very soon.

NFL players have always been forcing a trade if their team is a sinking ship, the recent example of Jalen Ramsey leaving the Jaguars to join the Rams is enough to prove how things work. Even though, the contract of Odell Beckham Jr. with Browns is till 2023 with a base salary of $14 million per year, his guaranteed money is about to get over and he can easily make a deal with some other NFL teams after that.

The New England Patriots star Tom Brady was seen talking to Beckham personally after their game as the duo had a heartful exchange. Even the Los Angeles Rams look strong this year, and Odell Beckham Jr. will prefer a genius coach like Sean McCay or Bill Belichick.
