Antonio Brown’s NFL playing status is a topic of controversy and despite playing only a single game in the 2019 NFL season, the wide receiver has been making a lot of news. From practice drama to sexual assault investigation, Brown has been the headline of every tabloid and gossip column. While none of the teams picked Antonio Brown in the October trade deadline, there are chances that New Orleans Saints signs the troubled star soon.
Antonio Brown is currently on his way to Metairie, Louisiana to meet with Sean Payton and New Orleans’ #Saints front office. I’m hearing a deal could be on the table.

It would be an interesting thing to see if the Saints pursue Brown after so much drama that happened season. But to win the Super Bowl, New Orleans Saints needs a WR like Antonio Brown and a deal is almost done as per some sources.
Antonio Brown will be a Cheap, Short-Term Contract
Antonio Brown is either crazy or not stable and has changed three teams since the start of the year and is now still a free agent. Pittsburgh Steelers signed off Brown to the Oakland Raiders because he was creating ruckus in the team and had a lot of issues with fellow teammate and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
But the wide receiver didn’t even play a single game for the Raiders where they removed him and the New England Patriots purchased him, Brown played a game with them and was removed instantly after a second report of sexual allegation against him. The question is would Saints take such a risk and bet on Antonio Brown to behave well and play for them.
Well, to be honest, none of the NFL team is ready to spend money on Brown and the New Orleans Saints could offer him a short-term contract for one year without spending too much money from their cap space.
Saints are Super Bowl Contenders and Brown can Help
New Orleans Saints have one of the best duos of quarterback and coach in the form of Drew Brees and Sean Payton and which is what Antonio Brown needs to show his true skills. Michael Thomas and Brown would be unstoppable by any of the NFL defensive sides and it would help the Saints a lot to win the next Super Bowl title.
It was the same reason why the Patriots signed Antonio Brown and the Saints would also risk signing the star, as an NFL title will overshadow all the controversies. New Orleans doesn’t want to repeat last year’s mistake and getting Brown might be a risky move, they will gamble on for sure.
