Washington Redskins after losing the first five games of NFL 2019 season fired their head coach Jay Gruden. It was imminent given how Gruden had issues with the Redskins players like Adrian Peterson and Dwayne Haskins along with being too egoistic in making decisions.
The Redskins owner Dan Snyder is now actively looking for a new coach and he seems to be fixated over Mike Tomlin who is currently the head coach of Pittsburgh Steelers.
Easiest prediction ever: The best thing you will see tomorrow is Mike Tomlin absolutely obliterating some question about the Redskins job.

It won’t be easy for Snyder to pull off a deal which includes the transfer of an active coach in the middle of NFL season. But the Washington owner is ready to take Tomlin at any cost and even offer him the full authority to his team.
Full Authority of Redskins to Mike Tomlin
Dan Snyder wants Mike Tomlin as the new head coach of the Washington Redskins and it would make him the highest-paid coach in NFL history. There are also plans for giving Tomlin the full authority of the Redskins organization, just like Bill Belichick handles the New England Patriots.
Canfora goes on to say that Snyder is so high on Mike Tomlin that he may give him a top coaching salary, and full authority over the organization

It won’t be the first time for Snyder to make the head coach also as the head of operations as he had done it three times before. Marty Schottenheimer, Joe Gibbs, and Mike Shanahan were given the full authority of the Redskins team in the past and Tomlin can be the next candidate who gets the job offer.
Will Mike Tomlin leave the Steelers?
Mike Tomlin is currently the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers who are also having a bad NFL season. The Steelers are at 1-4 and their starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and his replacement Mason Rudolph are out of the games due to injuries.
The Steelers should trade Mike Tomlin to Washington and recoup the 1st round pick they lost in the Minkah deal. It’s Tomlin’s hometown team. Snyder will pay him like Belichick. Then hire Jim Harbaugh. Or Lincoln Riley. Dream scenario.

When Tomlin was asked about the question of joining Redskins, he refused to answer saying he has not been offered anything officially and he has his full focus on the Steelers team and their next game against the Dolphins. Even if Mike Tomlin accepts the offer from Snyder to join the Redskins, they will have to give him a huge salary, players and picks in return to make the mid-season trade deal.
