Colorado Avalanche 2019-20 season schedule announced

Colorado Avalanche will kick off the 2019-20 season against Calgary Flames on October 3 at Pepsi Center. This season will see Avalanche’s second ever NHL outdoor game against Los Angeles Kings. The match will be played at the United States Air Force Academy as a part of NHL Stadium Series.

Highlights of Colorado Avalanche Season

Colorado Avalanche previously played an Outdoor series game against Detroit Red Wings at Coors Field in Denver back in 2016. The will also be Air Force’s first outdoor game and the overall second at the United States academy. The first was Washington Capitals contesting with Toronto Maple Leafs at U.S.Naval Academy last year.

The Avalanche will once again start their campaign in a home game. This will be the 11th time they have been awarded a home game at the start in the last 14 years and 11th in last 17.

Colorado will have 4 consecutive home games before going on an away run. The 6-game on road will be the longest it will travel in a stretch in the whole season. The 4 games they will start at Pepsi Center will be a franchise record for most consecutive home-ice matches.

Information regarding tickets for the NHL Stadium Series Outdoor games is yet to be announced. Rest of the tickets for the 40 home games can be pre-booked at coloradoavalanche.com.

92.5FM and 9:50 AM will air all the games. The television hasn’t been announced so far but expects it to come soon too.
