The K-Pop agency CEO will undergo investigations by the prosecution. Moreover, the CEO and his sister are prime suspects in sexually harassing six undergoing trainees including the participants of the Produce 101 Season 2.
Seoul Gangnam Police Station declared on Tuesday that they handed CEO ‘A’ and his sister ‘B’ to the prosecution on the advice of arraignment. They are prime suspects in the case of sexual harassment with the use of work-related powers.
The charges on them are in accordance with the Act on Special Cases Concerning in the Punishment, Etc. of Sexual Crimes.
Produce 101 Season 2: sexual harassment prime suspects
The police reported that the two prime suspects are being investigated about the charges on them. Moreover, the charges include touching of the trainees of Produce 101 Season 2 inappropriately at the company’s dinner party after their performance in Tokyo last September. Some trainees at the meeting also made an appearance on the show ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ in 2017.
In the month of January, the trainees of Produce 101 Season 2 finally lodged their complaints regarding the CEO’s band behavior. Nonetheless, the Gangnam Police Officers without a delay began with their investigations under the watchful eye of the prosecution.

The conflict was based on contract terms with 10 trainees inclusive of 6 plaintiffs. The agency also denied all the charges on them. Further stating the charges to be completely untrue.
